Employee Spotlight - Sarah Trummel

Sarah Trummel is the Acquisitions/Serials Assistant in the library. All those books, supplements, and reference materials are materials that she orders and receives for the library. She spends her time in Technical Services, so while you won't see her very much, she is happy to be back in the ordering and processing area to make sure everyone has what they need for classes.

Sarah has two teenage girls. Her oldest attends Lewis and Clark High and is a talented budding artist. Her artwork has graced the entrance wall of Chastek Library in the past. Her youngest goes to Sacajawea Middle School and is a budding goofball. She also has two cats that keep all of them very busy. Alongside her boyfriend, Mike, she loves to sample local restaurants and attend concerts at The Bartlett. They enjoy going to concerts in Seattle and Portland whenever they get a chance to get away. Sarah is also an avid reader and a member of a couple local book clubs. So, if you ever want recommendations for books to read, a concert to see, or a restaurant to try, just ask Sarah!
